2014 Fall Fund Raiser, “MAGICAL MEMORIES GALA”

A Truly Magical Evening….

The night of October 17th, 2014 will be remembered for so many reasons. On that night, Clear Thoughts Foundation (CTF) held their Magical Memories Gala at J. Verno Studio in the historic South Side area of Pittsburgh. CTF held this gala to raise money in furthering their mission to accelerate the discovery of drugs that stop dementia.

Dr. Roya Tehranian-DePasquale, a renowned neuroscientist, will remember the evening as she was the recipient of the CTF’s first Donald M. Jameson Jr. Fellowship award.  Roya’s research and dedication in the science of neurodegenerative diseases is the embodiment of the CTF mission.

Those in attendance, a capacity crowd of 300, no doubt will remember the intimate performance of the amazing illusion artist Mike Super. Mike, a native of Pittsburgh, confounded the crowd with his ability to make the impossible, possible. Prior to the Magical Memories Gala, all of America was wowed by Mike’s magic on the hit TV show “America’s Got Talent”.  They will also remember the delicious food provided by Heavenly Cuisine Custom Catering.

The members of Clear Thoughts will remember the generosity of all of the guests who through their support, make the ability to provide research fellowships possible and a cure for dementia obtainable. The gala raised over $68,000.

However, the most vivid memory from the evening certainly was the inspiration that drives all that CTF does….our loved ones who are no longer with us due to the cruelty of dementia. It is the memory of those we lost who will continue to be the compelling motivation emboldening Clear Thoughts to continue the fight towards the cure.
