That's a wrap on our 6th annual Dementia Awareness Month! Thank you to everyone who joined at events, engaged with our educational content, and/or donated to support our vision of seeing a world free of dementia. Check out the recap below and see all the ways the CTF team & partners helped spread dementia awareness, research information, and hope in your community.

Thank you to our partners!

Throughout the month of May, CTF organized a variety of community activities designed to educate, engage, and inspire. This included vendor presence at Arden Court's Power of the Mind educational seminar, a fitness class with R.A.W. Training, the Pittsburgh premiere of award-winning documentary WALK WITH ME, a happy hour and 1% May give-back feature with Happenstance Cafe, and a featured drink give-back with restaurants: Forbes Tavern, Proper Brick Oven Tap House, and Walnut Grill. Please help us support all of these incredibly generous partners. Connect with them for more information, to schedule a workout, or for a delicious meal!

Everyone that attended an event during CTF Dementia Awareness Month were entered in to win two tickets to the 2026 Roll for a Reason Gala. And the winner is... Will Midgley!

M.A.S.H. 'LOCL' Award

We are grateful to M.A.S.H. of Greater Pittsburgh for nominating CTF Founder and President, Hayley Jameson, as their 2026 League of Community Leaders 'LOCL' award recipient. Hayley accepted this award at the 2026 Health Care Professionals Conference hosted by Julian Gray Associates on Tuesday, May 12th. Upon award acceptance, we are excited for the opportunity to share more about CTF's mission with attendees. Thank you again to M.A.S.H. for this touching nomination and opportunity for Hayley to share more on CTF's mission to fund the fight against dementia!

In total, CTF raised over $7,000 from the collective efforts of our Dementia Awareness Month, which will be put directly toward the continued research advancements of the CTF Consortium. Thanks again for your support last month and please reach out with any suggestions to include in next year's Dementia Awareness Month!
